  • Description: Provides curbside collection services for garbage, recycling, and organics/green waste (food scraps, food-soiled paper & yard trimmings) for some homes in the unincorporated area of Sacramento County.Residents of single-family and duplex homes in unincorporated County receive the following services: Weekly Garbage Collection Service (choice of 30, 60, or 90-gallon container) To report a missed pickup, call 3-1-1 or 916-875-4311, or submit a Missed Curbside Collection Service form Weekly Organics/Green Waste Collection Service (choice of 30, 60, or 90-gallon carts) Bi-weekly Recycling Collection Service (choice of 30, 60, or 90-gallon carts) Weekly Used Motor Oil/Cooking Oil and Filters Collection Service Bulky Waste Pick-up Service - one free every 12 months, by appointment for 5 cubic yards. Additional appointments charge a fee for 5 cubic yards (maximum material) Household Hazardous Waste Drop-off locations (batteries, paint, etc.) Free Drop Off Items at NARS/Kiefer CalRecycle CentersFor a list of beverage container recycling programs through CalRecycle click here.For information on other recycling centers through CalRecycle click here.
