Description: Provides a 5-day emergency food supply once a month to households in need. TEFAP emergency food may be accessed more frequently if needed. Primarily serves Sacramento County residents, but open to anyone in need. Ready-to-eat options are available for clients that are currently unhoused and unable to cook and/or store food.Food distributions are held via a drive-through. Oversize vehicles may not be accommodated at the drive-through and individuals may be asked to walk up to receive a distribution.Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS)During a PSPS event, additional services will be available.
Hours: Full Food Distribution: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, 11 am - 1:30 pm;Emergency TEFAP Distribution: Wednesdays until the end of June, 11 am - 1:30 pm;First hour of distribution (11 am - noon) is for seniors (ages 60+), the disabled, and homeless guests; all other clients may arrive at noon for assistance;Registration: Closes at 1:30 pm or when the lot is full, whichever comes first. If registration is closed when one arrives, they may visit the following distribution day;Closed on all major federal and state holidays
Eligibility: Open to all.
Requirements: Proof of address, picture ID, name, relationship, and birthdate for each additional person living in the household.
