Description: Establishes and enforces court orders for child support and medical support, establishes parentage by obtaining court orders, and is an authorized agency for the California Parentage Opportunity Program. Unmarried parents seeking to sign a declaration of parentage for their child(ren) via the California Parentage Opportunity Program can contact the Sacramento County Department of Child Support Services. Parents do not need to open a child support case to sign a declaration of parentage. Child support agency court hearings are heard at this location. They are conducted in Department 132. This information is included in all court hearing documents and can also be obtained by contacting the child support office directly. Children are not permitted in the courtrooms.Child Support Payment Options: PayNearMe options are now available for making child support payments at participating 7-Eleven locations and Dollar General Stores. The Compromise of Arrears Program is a debt reduction program that is available for parents to reduce the past-due child support they owe.
