Description: Offers a variety of free programs to families with minor children that live within Sacramento County. Services include:CPS Approved Parenting workshops Infant Safe Sleep workshops Support groups Crisis intervention Craft workshops Family events Socialization & recreational activities Diapers (when supplies allow)Birth & Beyond In-Home Visitation - Free and voluntary family support, home visitation services. The program focuses on the primary caregiver and children, but also encompasses the needs of the whole family.Empowered Families Home Visitation - Helps by providing in-home parenting workshops which help improve bonding, parent-child relationships, and child behavior. Connects families with community resources, health education, and information.
Hours: Office: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, 10 am - 2:30 pm
Eligibility: Family Resource Center (FRC): Families with children from birth - to age 17 living in Sacramento County.Birth & Beyond Home Visitation: At-risk families that are pregnant or have children and are living within ZIP codes: 95630, 95655, 95670, 95742, 95826, 95827, 95830, 95608, 95610, or 95628.Empowered Families Home Visitation: Families who are pregnant and or parents to children 0 - 17 years old.
