A temporary housing unit when there is a lack of available housing resources to rent. Funds to support the repair or replacement of owner-occupied homes. Funds for other uninsured or under-insured disaster-caused expenses and serious needs. Funds for hazard mitigation assistance to help eligible homeowners repair or rebuild stronger, more durable homes.

  • Eligibility: To be eligible for this benefit program, you must be a U.S. citizen, non-citizen national, or qualified alien, and all of the following:-You must have losses in an area that has been declared a disaster by the President of the United States.-Your primary residence has been affected, and damages to your primary residence are disaster-related.-Your primary residence is uninhabitable or inaccessible-The disaster-caused need cannot be met through other forms of disaster assistance or insurance.-You have insufficient or no insurance.
  • Requirements: Photos of damaged home and belongings, list of damaged or lost items, insurance determination letter (if you have insurance, you must file a claim), home ownership/occupancy verification, and proof of ID.
