Description: Offers two camps for kids that have been burn-injured and stayed in a hospital overnight. Supported by a trained volunteer staff that consists primarily of firefighters, burn care professionals, and adult burn survivors, the programs help families understand and cope with the physical and emotional challenges associated with burn recovery. The Kids Burn Camps include: The Firefighters Kids Camp: A one-week program designed for young burn survivors who are age six (and completed the 1st grade) to age seventeen. Provides a fun and safe outdoor environment that encourages healing, personal growth and character development. The Little Heroes Family Burn Camp: A three-day program designed for young burn survivors, ages one to six years old, and their families. In a camp environment, families have the opportunity to meet other families who are overcoming similar challenges.

Eligibility: Firefighters Kids Camp: Burn survivors aged 6 (who have completed the first grade) to 17.Little Heroes Family Burn Camp: Burn survivors aged 1 to 6 and their families.
