Description: An annual Christmas Basket program for individuals, families, & seniors living within 95815, 95833, 95834, 95835, & 95838. Applications will be taken in-person only this year until resources have been depleted. No online applications. In-person pick-up. Parents can choose their own toys for the kids.General Information: Only those who can prove that they live in the household can be put on the application Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center is unable to add people after the application has been completed Only one basket per household/address will be provided, families who are sharing housing will receive one basket based on the number of people living in the house At the time of registration, families will be given an appointment day and time in December to pick up their baskets. If you have applied for any other Christmas assistance programs, you are ineligible to apply for this program.
Hours: Applications: Beginning Tuesday, October 22, 2024 until applications are full;Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 am - 12:30 pmApplications will not be accepted on Thursday, November 28rd, 2024, or Friday, November 29th, 2024 due to office closures.
Eligibility: Must reside in ZIP codes 95815, 95833, 95834, 95835 or 95838. If a household is receiving Christmas assistance from another agency, they will not be eligible to receive a basket.
Requirements: . The adult filling out the application must bring a current photo ID. For each adult (18+) in the household, bring two CURRENT (September/October/November/December 2024) items with name & address, such as utility bills, phone bills, letters with legible postmarks, etc.. For each child ages 5-17 years in the household, bring a document that shows their name, date of birth, and address. (ex. Copy of the 2024 school registration form, a printout from the doctor's office, Medi-Cal renewal notice letter).. For each child 4 years & under in the household, bring a copy of their birth certificate.Please note: photo IDs from schools, vaccination records, social security cards, and Medi-Cal cards do not have addresses and cannot be used for proof of address for children ages 5-17.
