Description: Provides job training and skills assessment opportunities for eligible individuals 55 or older. Offers paid job training and career development. All enrollees are required to work towards the goal of finding a job when training is completed.Training opportunities include: Office support Retail Telephone Reassurance Nursing home activities Custodial Maintenance
Eligibility: Age 55 and older, income must be at or below 125% of the Federal Poverty Level, unemployed, reside in Sacramento County, and eligible to work in the United States according to the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986.Income Limits (guidelines effective as of January 17, 2024):1 person in family/household: $18,825 per year2 people in family/household: $25,550 per year3 people in family/household: $32,275 per year4 people in family/household: $39,000 per year5 people in family/household: $45,725 per year6 people in family/household: $52,450 per year7 people in family/household: $59,175 per year8 people in family/household: $65,900 per year
