- Eligibility: Must:- Be a Sacramento County resident who has been in the United States for less than five years- Be 16 years old or older- Not be enrolled full-time in primary or secondary school- Be a refugee/asylee, a Special Immigrant Visa holder (SIV), a Cuban/Haitian entrant, a certified victim of human trafficking, or an AmerasianA refugee is a person living outside of his/her country of nationality who is unable or unwilling to return because of persecution, or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion.
