Description: Provides support to victims of crime including but not limited to victims of domestic violence, elder abuse, sexual assault, child abuse, child neglect, mass violence, family violence, the family of the victim of a homicide, physical assault, identity theft, and financial fraud.Specific services include: Court-related support Assistance in filing police reports Crisis prevention and intervention Safety planning Emergency on-call services Translation and interpretation services If Eligible: Assistance in filing Victims Compensation applications for financial assistance to victims of violent crimes Assistance in completing Safe at Home applications for a safe mailing address for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and elder abuse Non-clinical counseling services Referrals to clinical counseling Civil restraining orders If Eligible: Emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence If Eligible: Rental assistance for victims of domestic violence Community outreach and crime prevention education Resource referralsCertain victim services are only available to certain victimization types.
