• Description: Provides one-stop employment and training services to job seekers in Sacramento County.Services:Job Preparation Workshops: resume building, dressing for success, and interview techniques.Job Search Assistance: employer recruitment events, job announcements, and job search.Job Coach Services: one-on-one job assistance, including developing an employment plan, career counseling, pre-vocational services, and post-job services.On-the-Job Training: participants are enrolled in a sponsored program to encourage employers to hire them after completion of the training program.Technology Services: access to fax machines, copiers, phones, and computers to help individuals complete assessments, online applications, typing tests, etc. One-on-one computer assistance is also available.Prison to Employment (P2E): vocational training, on-the-job training, apprenticeship, case management, job search assistance, and job readiness training for incarcerated individuals re-entering the workforce.Additional services:VESL (Vocational ESL) Classes Application Assistance (for CalFresh, Medi-Cal, utility assistance programs, etc.)Services are offered in partnership with Sacramento Employment and Training Agency (SETA).
