• Description: The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is the second step of substance abuse treatment. Designed to be a transition process in which individuals gain greater success in their recovery and are given increased opportunities to exercise their independence and sobriety skills.Services occur six days a week. Clients receive care during the day and return home or to an alternative off-campus residence during non-treatment hours. The typical length of stay in PHP at Azure Acres is 15-30 days but may vary depending on needs and progress.PHP Treatment Therapies include:Individual TherapyFamily TherapyGroup Therapy Experiential Therapy

• Eligibility: Individuals ages 18 and older who are struggling with drug and/or alcohol addiction.Admissions decisions are on a case-by-case basis. However, in general, the program is ideal for adults who meet one of the following criteria:- Have completed an inpatient or residential addiction treatment program but can benefit from structured step-down support.- Require more intensive services than can be provided at a lower level of care, but the needs are not severe enough to warrant round-the-clock treatment.
