Services include: Free vaccine clinics 20% discount on other senior services (microchips, spay/neuter, non-core vaccinations, etc.) Adoption fees waived for animals five years or older. 20% discount for adoptions of animals under 5 years of age, except for puppies. 20% discount on items in the Adoption Center's retail store Discounted behavior and training services Love on Loan pet visits to senior and special care facilities Free estate planning seminar/Pet Guardian programAdditional resources and low-cost senior clinics compiled by the Sacramento SPCA.
Hours: Adoption Center Hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 am - 5:30 pm;Animal Intake Hours: Seven days a week, 11 am - 5 pm;Vaccination Clinic Hours: Monday through Wednesday, Saturday - by appointment only;Spay/Neuter Clinic Hours: Monday through Saturday - by appointment
Eligibility: Seniors ages 65 and over.Free Vaccination Qualifications:- Clients must present a government-issued ID.- Animals must be spayed or neutered. Clients must bring documentation that the animal has been spayed/neutered. - There is a maximum of four pets allowed per household for each clinic (no litters of puppies or kittens allowed).- Free core vaccinations include: DHPP and rabies for dogs; FVRCP and rabies for cats.
Requirements: For free vaccinations: - Documentation that the animal has been altered (spayed/neutered)- Government-issued ID
