Description: Works with community leaders and organizations to provide programs that cultivate financial skills in areas like budgeting, banking, credit, debt relief, etc. Services include financial education, financial coaching and planning, workforce development training, and workforce preparation.Programs offered:Ventanilla de Asesoria Financiera Y Proteccion al Patrimono (VAF): provides free, culturally and linguistically appropriate financial assistance and education for the Mexican and Hispanic community living in the 24-county jurisdiction of the Mexican Consulate of Sacramento.Free Financial Coaching: offered in English, Spanish, and Farsi. Helps people overcome financial barriers and encourages progress towards financial goals.Workforce Development: connects residents to job training, workplace readiness, and leadership experience; provides financial literacy trainings; and exposes residents to industry, networking and career opportunities.
