Eligibility: Low-income residents of Folsom. Income Eligibility is based on 200% of the Federal Poverty Limit. To qualify for the Utility Assistance Program, the utility service bill must be in your name, or you must be an authorized person on the account. You must reside at the property that receives services. This program is only available for single-family residences.
Requirements: Proof of income. Must also include one of the following:- Most recent year's 1040- SMUD bill showing Energy Assistance Program Rate discount- Two months of consecutive paystubs- Award letters for Social Security, Veterans Assistance, Unemployement, Disability, etc.- Award letters or letter of participation in Public Assistance Programs CalFresh/SNAP (Food Stamps), CalWorks (TANF, CAPI)
