Description: Offers assistance with rent, utilities, furniture, mattresses, and clothing for those in need residing in zip codes 95815, 95825, and 95864 and parts of zip code 95821. Service Provider is only able to help with a few hundred dollars for rent and utility assistance. Clients needs to be able to cover the rest of the rent or utility bill.
Hours: Leave Voice Message: Seven days a week, 24-hours
Eligibility: Those in need residing in zip codes 95815, 95825, and 95864, and parts of zip code 95821 (Arden Arcade area). Individuals are only eligible to receive assistance for a specific need once per year. If an individual receives one type of assistance, like rental or utility support, they will be unable to receive additional assistance for that same need for 12 months.
Requirements: Identification, income verification, and proof of address (utility bill). Shut off noticed is required for Utility Assistance. 3-day notice to quit required for rent assistance. A home visit is required for furniture.
