Description: Serves as a stepping stone between preschool and kindergarten. Provides students with an additional year of preparation to help them build the skills needed for kindergarten and beyond. Curriculum focuses on academic, social, and emotional development through play-based learning. Hours: Enrollment Center: Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm - closed on holidays
Eligibility: 2024-2025 School Year:Children who turn five years of age on or between September 2, 2024 to June 2, 2025.2025-2026 School Year:Children who turn five years of age on or between September 2, 2025 to September 1, 2026.
Requirements: The following documents are required along with a completed registration form:1. Photo Identification: State Issued ID or other photo identification.2. Address Verification (name on the ID must match the name on the bill issued within 30 days):a. Utility service contract, statement, or payment receiptsb. Property tax payment receiptsc. Rental property contract, lease with payment receiptsd. Voter registratione. Correspondence from a government agencyf. Pay stubs3. Proof of Birth: Local registrar or county issued birth certificate, duly attested baptism certificate, or passport. If an individual does not have the ability to provide proof of birth, the parent/guardian may provide any other appropriate means of proving the age of the child.4. Immunization Record: current for each child.5. Individualized Education Plan (IEP): documentation for receiving Special Education Services, if applicable.6. Guardianship/Custody Documents: if applicable.
