• Eligibility: Open. Must be a Sacramento County resident to qualify for jury service. Additional qualifications for jury service include:- Sufficient understanding of the English language.- Citizen of the United States.- 18 years of age or older.- Not currently serving as a Grand Juror.- Not a peace officer as defined by Penal Code section 830.1, 830.2(A) or 830.33(A).- Have not been convicted of a felony, OR have been convicted of a felony, but are currently not on parole, post-release community supervision, felony probation, or mandatory supervision for the conviction of a felony. - Not currently incarcerated in prison or jail.- Not required to register as a sex offender pursuant to section 290 of the Penal Code.- Had civil rights restored following a conviction of a felony or malfeasance while holding public office.Must also be able to serve for at least 10 days following your scheduled summons date. The Sacramento Superior Court operates on a One Day / One Trial system.
• Requirements: Badge number (available on jury summons) is required to submit request to be disqualified, excused, or to request a postponement of your jury service. Badge number is also required to update name or address.
