Description: Provides CalFresh application assistance to help people increase their grocery budget and buy healthy and nutritious foods. CalFresh benefits may be used at grocery stores and farmers' markets, as well as for online grocery deliveries.
Hours: Office Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Eligibility: Low-income individuals and families. Those who work part-time or receive SSI benefits may still be eligible. Call for more information.
Requirements: - Photo ID - Proof of address (utility bill, rental agreement, etc.) - Proof of citizenship or immigration status showing one is "lawfully present" (naturalization certificate, green card, employment authorization, etc.) - Proof of income (federal tax information from most recently filed tax return; bring all pages in the packet, especially Schedule C if one is self-employed or has income that is not from wages) - Social security number and date of birth for all tax dependents/household members
