Description: Helps pregnant women, new moms, and young children eat well, stay healthy, and be active.WIC offers: Free, healthy foods Nutrition education Referrals to community services Information and support for breastfeedingThe WIC App allows participants to view upcoming appointments, view food benefits issued to them, scan UPCs while shopping to see if the UPC is a WIC-approved item, and provides information on locations of WIC stores and clinics across California.
Hours: Monday through Thursday, 8 am - 5:30 pm; Fridays, 8 am - 4:30 pm
Eligibility: Low-income pregnant, postpartum, and/or breastfeeding women, and women with a child under the age of five. Migrant farm workers, dads, foster parents, grandparents, and other caregivers who are in one or more of the categories listed above are welcome to apply. US citizenship is not a requirement for receiving WIC. Must also meet the following WIC Income Guidelines (effective April 1, 2024 - June 30, 2025):1 Person in Household: $2,322 monthly2 People in Household: $3,152 monthly3 People in Household: $3,981 monthly4 People in Household: $4,810 monthly5 People in Household: $5,640 monthly6 People in Household: $6,469 monthly7 People in Household: $7,299 monthly8 People in Household: $8,128 monthlyAdd $830 per additional family member. A family might meet income eligibility if they receive Medi-Cal, CalFresh, or CalWORKS.
Requirements: Proof of address and proof of income.
