FOSTERING FUTURE SUCCESS - LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA

Description: Provides extended foster care for former foster youth (ages 18-21) who have opted to extend their foster care to age 21 and have agreed to receive additional services. Youths live in a subsidized apartment while pursuing both school and employment opportunities. Youth are also given a monthly stipend to assist with everyday living needs (clothes, food, utility bills, etc.).

Eligibility: Former foster care youth, ages 18 - 21, who have elected to receive additional services after the age of 18.
Requirements: Referral from the Sacramento County Child Protective Services (CPS).
