Goals of these therapies include: Helping individuals learn coping and adaptive skills Improving emotional self-regulation Alleviating the need for a higher level of care Providing clinical assessment and diagnosis Offering medication management (when necessary) and counseling Offering psycho-education, resource development, and advocacyOffers school-based counseling for children who may be experiencing distress due to various factors. Goals of school-based services include: Providing outpatient treatment in the school setting Collaborating with school staff on an ongoing basis Optimizing levels of academic performance and classroom behavior Improving relationships in the home and at school
