Description: Aims to serve the less fortunate children in unincorporated Sacramento County and provides a connection between law enforcement, people in need, and those in the community capable of giving. Provides toys for children ages 0 to 13.Accepts gently used bikes, new toys, and monetary donations.
Hours: Application Period: October 8, 2024, through November 6, 2024, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9 am - 1 pm;Saturday, November 9, 2024, 9 am - 1 pm
Eligibility: Families must meet the following criteria:- Must reside in unincorporated Sacramento County ('county' jurisdiction, NOT 'city')- Child must be between 0 - 13 years old- Child must be living with the applicant- Must fall within the following income limits:2 people in household: monthly net of $1,7043 people in household: monthly net of $2,1524 people in household: monthly net of $2,6005 people in household: monthly net of $3,0496 people in household: monthly net of $3,497Add $449 for each additional person in householdThose who have applied for any other Christmas assistance programs are NOT eligible for this program. Screening for applications with other programs will be conducted.
Requirements: Must provide the following:- Birth certificate for each child- Proof of residence: current rent receipt and lease agreement, mortgage payment, and a utility bill in the applicant's name- Proof of income (all that apply): current pay stub, current SSI verification (print-out), current CalWorks summary (print-out), and Student Aid verification (cash amount received)- One form of identification: Photo ID, Driver's License, State ID Card, Green Card, or Passport
