Description: COVID-19 Update: MTS began a modified weekday schedule on April 13. Most weekend service is not impacted. Riders are required to wear a face covering on board.

Operates public transit service throughout San Diego County with three trolley lines and almost 100 bus routes. Provides information about public transit services throughout the county.
Offers phone-based or online trip planning. Operates the Transit Store, which has bus, trolley, and coaster passes, senior and disabled transit identification cards, and a lost and found department. Passes may be bought online. A school safety program to educate preschool through high school students about the Metropolitan Transit System and safety in the various transit environments. Safety presentations are also available to community groups. MTS is also the taxicab administrator for the cities of San Diego, El Cajon, Imperial Beach, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Poway and Santee.
