Description: Provides services and advocacy that assist people with disabilities to live independently, become employed and have equality in the communities in which they live and work. Services include evaluation to determine vocational potential, counseling to select modified or new vocational goals, referrals to training programs when necessary, and placement assistance.
Eligibility: Eligibility for DOR services is based on the following factors: *You have a physical or mental impairment.*Your impairment constitutes or results in a significant impediment to employment for you; and *You require and can benefit from vocational rehabilitation services to prepare you to obtain, retain or regain employment.
