Description: Offers services and resources for families raising children with special needs and disabilities. Provides practical information and emotional support.Services include: Information and Referral: Linking families with resources Family Support: Provides one-on-one peer support and group supports Outreach: Increase public awareness of disability and service that supports families Advocate: Strenghtening parent's knowledge and decision-making Workshops and Seminars: Trains parents and professionals using culturally sensitive and family focused approach Resources: Books, tapes, and articles on disability, parenting, family support and related topics
