- Description: Supports those whose health or safety are at risk if their electric or gas service is disconnected and who do not qualify for Medical Baseline.Support may include:Proactive outreach and support during Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS), major emergencies and multi-day outagesDoorbell rings or a doorhanger from PG&E if you do not respond to previous PSPS notificationsExtra notice before power is turned off due to nonpaymentIncreased levels of support for rebates, discounts, and other programsOnce enrolled, SIV status will stay on your account for one year.
