Description: Provides resource for families who have loved ones living with severe mental illness.Services include: Family Support Group - free drop-in basis meeting providing mutual support by trained facilitator who are family members. Family-To-Family - a 8-week series of class for families, friends, and caregivers of persons with mental illnesses. Class provides opportunity to learn, self-care, and bond with others dealing with the same issues. Class is taught by family members. Courses are held periodically. Office maintain a waiting list. This service is also taught in Spanish. NAMI Basics - a free 6-session program for parents and caregivers of children and adolescent with mental health to understand the illnesses that are causing those behaviors and role families play in the treatment process.
