ABILITY TOOLS (AT), CALIFORNIA FOUNDATION FOR INDENPENDENT LIVING CENTERS (CFILC)

Description: Provide a variety of services for Californians with disabilities.Services include: NATADS Public Access Portal (Buy, Sell, Borrow, and Free AT Exchange) - Public database to search and/or post gently used assistive device or equipment for sale, exchange, giveaway or loan. Device Lending and Demo Centers - Provide free, short-term loans of assistive device or equipment up to 30 days. Can ship most items to borrowers throughout California. Financial loan program for AT Information and Referral - Community based, information and referral specialist to connect consumers with variety of assistive technology. Reuse program in affiliation with organizational partners - List of agencies accepting donations of gently used assistive technology devices and gadgets that are cleaned and repaired before donating or providing at a low cost to people with disabilities.
