CalFresh is a supplemental program that helps buy food. The program supports limited-income individuals and families to stay healthy. Monthly benefits are provided on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. EBT Cards work just like a bank debit card to buy food. EBT Cards are accepted at most grocery stores and markets, including some Farmers' Markets.
