• Description:

  Provides Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program. Voucher holders pay approximately one-third of the household income in rent. As well as utilities to housing providers. The remainder of the rent is paid through federal subsidies to the housing providers.
  
  Additional Programs:

  • Family Self-Sufficiency Program: Work-based incentive program that involves the Head of Household signing a five-year contract with the Housing Authority and dedicating themselves to working toward completion of specific goals. Only for current participants in Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher.
  • Tax-Exempt Bond Financing
  • Property Management Services
  • Provision of Housing and management services for developmentally disabled individuals
