TUTORING AND PEER ADVISING, SANTA BARBARA CALIFORNIA STUDENT OPPORTUNITY AND ACCESS PROGRAM (CAL-SOAP SB)

Description: Offers tutoring and peer advising for students to prepare them for post-secondary education. Hires college students from UCSB, SBCC, and Westmont College each year to erve as tutor peer advisors. Tutors work in the classroom alongside the teacher and become added educators motivating students to excel. Also provides information to students about attending college.

COVID-19 Update: Cal-SOAP is now working remotely and continuing to provide tutoring, advisement, and general services. Call to make an appointment.
