  • Description:

    Provides Patient Rights Advocates:

    • Protect the rights of those receiving mental health services with Behavioral Wellness. As well as their contracted providers.

    • Make sure all consumers are notified of their rights while receiving services.

    • Education and representation in hearings for those hospitalized in an inpatient psychiatric facility.

    • Investigate concerns and complaints about mental health services and work to resolve them.

    • Assist Alcohol and Other Drug and mental health consumers with beneficiary rights processes. Such as a grievance or an appeal.

    • Paperwork and support for recipients who would like to complete an Advance Directive.
