• Description: Oversees resource families who are approved to provide care and supervision for children 24/7. Approved by the State of CA to license foster family homes within Santa Clara County. Foster families provide temporary care for children who are experiencing family crises due to abuse or neglect. Prospective foster families receive:

• Requirements: The Licensing Packet, provided at orientation, includes Foster Family Home Application, Health Screening Report, Criminal Record Statement, Personal References Request, Livescan (criminal background checks), PRIDE training certificate, Emergency Plan for Foster Family Homes and Facility Sketch.
