HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER, SANTA CLARA COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY

Description: Provides rental subsidy for low-income households living in privately owned rental units. Recipients pay 30% of their income towards rent. The Housing Authority pays the balance of rent directly to the landlords on behalf. The subsidy is tied to the family so if the family moves to another residence, the subsidy moves with them.
