• Description:

  Provides child advocacy services to protect the best interests of children in foster care. Helps mitigate the effects of abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment. Ensures every child in the Santa Clara County foster care system has a stable adult in their life. Advocates are court- appointed volunteers who have received thorough training. An advocate stays with a case for up to 18 months or until the case is closed.
