RECYCLING AND HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE PROGRAM FOR SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CENTER FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF RECYCLING (CDR)

Did this help?

  • Description: Provides a hotline for residents to locate recycling programs and sites throughout Santa Clara County. Programs may offer recycling services for the following materials:
    • Hazardous waste
    • Aluminum
    • Electronics
Please note: The business office does not accept household hazardous waste. Residents are provided directions to the facilities and site address at the time-of-appointment. This ensures drop-offs are authorized and materials are safely collected by professional staff. Businesses that generate small quantities of hazardous waste may qualify to use the County's Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator (CESQG) program. Visit the website for more information on hazardous waste drop-off services.
