INTERNSHIP, YEAR UP BAY AREA

Description: Offers an internship program to young adults. Program includes the opportunity to earn a stipend of $600-$1,000 per month for six months. Participants earn college credits and receive a technical certificate from Foothill College. Provides training in in-demand technical, business communication, and professional skills training. Participants gain hands-on experience and a valuable professional reference.

Eligibility: Must meet the following criteria: -Youth, age 18-29 years old. -High school graduate or GED. -Low to moderate income. -US citizenship, permanent resident, DACA recipient, or employment authorization card required. -Must be available five days a week, Monday-Friday for the full year of the program. Must be motivated to learn new technical and professional skills.
