Provides assistance with burials for deceased persons without an estate. Helps those with no family and, therefore, no monetary sources to handle the remains. Also applicable when a family has no resources of their own to pay for the burial. Provides resources related to recent or past deaths within Santa Clara County. Resources include:
- Indigent Cremation Program: Helps those without an estate, family, or means to pay for a burial
- Unidentified Decedents List: Maintains an active list of unidentified decedents from Santa Clara County on its webpage. Cases are freely viewable by the public who may be looking for a missing loved one. For additonal information please visit the Unidentified Decendent website.
