Description: Protects the community from public health related threats. Serves as the first line of defense against infectious diseases, toxins, and biohazards. Partners with local health professionals, clinics, hospitals and law enforcement. Tests and identifies substances which could pose a serious risk to public health. Walk-in testing services include:
- Testing ticks for Lyme Disease
- Testing water samples for fecal contamination
- Testing for rabies

Eligibility: Open to all Physician orders are required for all testing with exception of the walk-in testing services. Rabies testing walk-in appointments must involve the presence of Animal Control authorities
