• Description:

  Offers individuals the opportunity to avoid criminal charges through completing community service. Eligibility is determined by the District Attorney. Clients must successfully complete the following steps to avoid criminal charges being filed:

  • Complete the community service
  • Attend a Cognitive Behavioral Theory class
  • Pay restitution (if deemed necessary)
  • Remain crime-free for four months

  Qualifying misdemeanor offences include petty theft, vandalism, and trespassing. Also includes receiving stolen property, littering, and shoplifting.
