    Provides free and unbiased help with insurance issues. Including Medicare, Medical, HMO's, and longterm care insurance.

    Individual counseling includes:
      - Rights as a Medicare beneficiary
      - Understanding Medicare benefits
      - Understanding long-term care options
      - Evaluating options to supplement Medicare
      - Understanding medicare savings programs
      - Review and appeal assistance of claim denials
      - Provider communication and coordination of benefits

      HICAP counselors will not:
        - Sell any product
        - Charge for any service
        - Make any decisions for the individual
