  • Description:

    Provides financial assistance for eligible residents to purchase food. Benefits are issued monthly on an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card. The card is used as a debit card to buy food at participating retailers. Emergency CalFresh assistance may be available within three days in certain circumstances. Monthly benefit amount is determined by income and family size.

    Using EBT for online purchases:
    CalFresh EBT extended its service for online use at approved retailers. Recipients can now purchase eligible groceries at participating stores for delivery and pickup. Please visit the EBT webpage for details.

    Note: The Restaurant Meals Program (RMP) is NOT available in Trinity County at this time.
