Description: Provides short and medium-term rental assistance, stabilization services, and street outreach, for persons experiencing homelessness. Eligible residents are seen by appointment only. Families and individuals may be placed on a waitlist based on their level of vulnerability. A referral or acceptance to the program is not a guarantee of housing placement. Short-term assistance focuses on the following areas:
Housing stabilization
Short term rental assistance
Linking participants to community resources and benefits
Helping clients develop a plan for preventing future housing instability
Eligible clients may be provided case management services for up to a year
Eligibility: Must be Lake County resident and be:
-Verified homeless, without a permanent place to sleep at night (such as; staying in a shelter, motel, friend's home, camping, living in a car)
- Or Facing imminent loss of housing, with receipt of a court-ordered eviction
