• Description: Provides general power outage information to prepare for the different types of outages.
  
  Visit the Check Outage Status page on the SCE website for interactive outage map to determine if your service address is affected by an outage.
  
  Visit the Report an Outage page on the SCE website to report a general power outage.
  
  Visit the Get Outage Alerts page on the SCE website to sign up for notifications about upcoming and current power outages.
  
  SCE will send notifications of non-PSPS power outages using the contact information on your SCE account. (This can be changed in the Preference Center of the SCE My Account website.)
  
  Self-Certification as Sensitive Customer:
  If you or someone in your household uses life-sustaining medical equipment or relies on electricity to manage a medical condition and is not currently enrolled in our Medical Baseline Allowance program, it is important that you let your utility provider know. That way the utility provider will know to take extra steps to notify you about PSPS outages in your area that could result in your home losing power. To fill out Self-Certification form visit the
