Budget Billing, here
Helps offset high winter heating and summer air conditioning peak bills. Provides more predictable monthly energy costs to help you budget expenses. The Budget Billing program averages energy costs over the previous 12 months to determine monthly payment amounts. If energy costs significantly change, PG&E will adjust the monthly payment amount once every four months.
Arrearage Management Plan (AMP), here
Offers a debt forgiveness plan to eligible PG&E residential customers.
Energy Savings Assistance (ESA), here
Provides no-cost upgrades such as lighting, weatherization, or water-saving measures. Includes opportunities to upgrade or repair heat pump water heaters, furnaces, lighting, and refrigerators for no cost.
Relief for Energy Assistance through Community Help (REACH), here
Provides an energy credit to low income families for up to $300 based on past due bill. Customers can receive services once in a twelve month period. REACH is administered by the nonprofit organization, Dollar Energy Fund, with assistance available through local organizations in each county.

First, find where to apply for REACH assistance through local organizations by searching your local 211 for "Electric Service Payment Assistance" or "Gas Service Payment Assistance".
For those areas that do not offer a local organization to assist with applications, applicants can fill out an online application.
For discounted rate programs, such as CARE/FERA (PG&E CARE/FERA Energy Discount Program) or Medical baseline (PG&E Medical Baseline Discount Program), go directly to those programs.
