Provides emergency and disaster services to the people of San Benito County. Offers the following services:
Disaster Relief - Provides aid to individuals effected by disasters, including fires, earthquakes, and floods. Provides shelter, meals, counseling, and recovery services.
Community Outreach - Provides disaster preparedness presentations to the community. Also offers free smoke alarms for residents.
Trainings and Certifications - Provides training and certification for CPR and first aid. Also offers courses for water safety, childcare, medical professionals, and first responders. Trainings offered in-person, online, and hybrid.
Blood Drives - Offers opportunity to donate blood or organize a local blood drive. Donations are used to support emergency and disaster relief efforts.
Military and Veterans Support - Provides supportive services to active duty, veterans, and their families. Services include financial assistance, deployment support, emergency communication during disasters, and referrals for other services.
Volunteer Program - Ongoing volunteer opportunities for members of the community.
