REACH PROGRAM, NORTH COAST ENERGY SERVICES (NCES)

Description: Provides PG&E bill payment assistance. Offers an energy credit to low-income families for up to $1,000 based on past due bills. Customers may only receive payment assistance once in a twelve-month period.

Eligibility: Must be a PG&E customer with a residential account who: -has a minimum balance of $100 ($50 if elderly) -past due balance cannot be more than $2000 -account holder must reside in the home -Income must be less than 200% above the federal poverty guidelines. Households whose income is between 200% and 400% of the federal poverty guidelines may also apply, with stipulations. Call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000 for more information.
