Please note: Using www.myfreetaxes.org does require users to have an email address. Users will also be asked to create a password which they will need to access the self-preparation site. Users will also need to know their adjusted gross income from the prior year if they expect to reuse this self-prep system each year. When clients access this self-preparation website, they will be automatically carried over to Credit Karma to prepare their taxes. They will be asked to create an account there.

Requirements: These are the most commonly used resources you'll need to successfully complete your taxes for the tax year you are filing:
-W-2s for each job held
-1099s showing other income
-1098s, 1095-A
-Proof of bank account numbers for direct deposit
-Previous year's tax return
-Any other tax forms, Proof of identification (Photo ID), Social Security Numbers. Please
note: individuals filing their taxes at a new Tax Site for the first time must bring the original
copy of their Social Security Card.
-Other documents such as childcare and education expenses, charitable donations, and
vehicle or renter information
