Please note: Using www.myfreetaxes.org does require users to have an email address. Users will also be asked to create a password which they will need to access the self-preparation site. Users will also need to know their adjusted gross income from the prior year if they expect to reuse this self prep system each year. When clients access this self-preparation website, they will be automatically carried over to Credit Karma to prepare their taxes. They will be asked to create an account there.

Requirements: These are the most commonly-used resources you'll need to successfully complete your taxes for the tax year you are filing:
-W-2s for each job held
-1099s showing other income
-1098s, 1095-A
-Proof of bank account numbers for direct deposit
-Previous year's tax return
-Any other tax forms, Proof of identification (Photo ID), Social Security Numbers
-Other documents such as childcare and education expenses, charitable donations, and
vehicle or renter information
