Description: Provides affordable housing, helping those mostly 50 years and older to 'age in place'. Helps financially stressed individuals with low to no income experiencing life transitions. Allows individuals to thrive and remain safely at home.
Also offers a homeless prevention and mitigation program. Provides shared housing or Community Houses. Offers basic assistance, or services exchanged instead of rent. Creates housing stability for those in need of affordable housing.
Eligibility: Sonoma County Residents and for those wishing to move to Sonoma County.
Cannot have a court record of abuse of another human being, nor can applicant be currently involved in court proceedings that involve drug abuse, or criminal activity. Any history of drug or alcohol abuse, behavioral health concerns must be disclosed with an understanding of support for the applicant.
Individuals and occasionally serves families with children.
Requirements: Photo ID, Social Security card, and Proof of income.
